"WHY be a business owner?...

It's simple....

When business is doing well,
the owner earns more money than anyone else does.

When the business is doing poorly,
the owner is the last one to be laid off."

TRUE Liberty can exist only when there are ENOUGH value-productive private enterprises providing the goods and services required to support a civilization in a comfortable lifestyle, as pictured by the longed for conditions of "heaven on earth"... or the example offered by the Garden of Eden... The "fall of Eden" reveals what happens when the success formula is NOT wisely protected, used, and prepetuated unto all posterity.

WHICH MODEL is most successful....
Employee or Entrepreneurial Model???

The answer is clear from information contained in the following brief...

While attending Y2K expo in the Pittsburgh area Tom & Jayne Fitzgerald encountered another exhibitor…. A survivalist author who writes under the pseudonym, "Boston T. Party."

Tom bought one of his books…. In it, Boston writes that,

". . .our economy has been experiencing since 1973 the failure of the 'employee model'... ('Work hard at your job and you shall Live Long and Prosper.')"

A few paragraphs from another book entitled, "'Uncle Eric' Talks About...Personal, Career $ Financial Security," pp. 26-28, by Richard Maybury.

THE AMMUNITION: Maybury writes:

"... the fact is that in all the thousands of years of human history, the employee model was really valid only for about 70 years. The employee model works only in a free or almost free industrialized economy based on the principles of Common Law. Because only under those circumstances can companies plan ahead enough to accumulate enormous amounts of savings -- economists call it capital -- to build the highly productive big machines, factories and office buildings that provide high paying jobs.

"From about the year 1900 to 1970, the groundwork laid by America's founders had finally yielded so much fruit that the employee model was possible. America had become the most free and prosperous land ever known, and you could put your fate into the hands of a good company and be very well taken care of.

"BUT THAT'S ALL GONE NOW…. IT'S BEEN GONE FOR TWENTY YEARS. By 1973, the taxes, regulations, inflation and political law had done so much damage that anyone who follows the employee model now is in serious danger of SPENDING HIS LIFE GOING BACKWARDS. We are now on what economist F. A. Hayek called 'The Road to Serfdom.'

"We must now revert back to the only model that has a reasonable chance of working under a big, powerful government.

"THAT'S THE ENTREPRENURIAL MODEL. Don't be an employee. Be a business owner, an entrepreneur.

"Up until 1776 the entrepreneurial model was the only one an honorable person could use to achieve success. WE'RE BACK TO THOSE CONDITIONS AGAIN. The FAMILY BUSINESS is the only model I feel comfortable recommending, because the evidence shows that TEACHING A CHILD TO BE AN EMPLOYEE IS PREPARING HIM FOR FAILURE.

"But if you teach him to be an entrepreneur you're giving him a good chance to do well in life, to stand on his own two feet and be prosperous enough to take good care of his or her family.

"WHY be a business owner? It's simple. When the business is doing well, the owner earns more money than anyone else does. When the business is doing poorly, the owner is the last one to be laid off."
