WHY Hemp???? -- Facts!!!!

"Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth and protection of the country!"
- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President.

Growing Hemp for its massive uses has saved civilizations before,
and WILL SAVE US again WHEN facts inspire sanity to return!

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson cultivated hemp.... The Declaration of Independence was written on hemp paper. The first American flag was made of hemp. The sails and lines of naval vessels were made of hemp. The pioneers covered their wagons with material made of hemp. Hemp is an integral part of American history. Hemp is the world’s strongest fiber and the first crop cultivated for textile production dating back over 6,000 years.

Hemp is an ancient plant that has been used for thousands of years. Hemp has amazing versatility and is capable of producing food, fuel and fiber that is used in countless applications including textiles, paper, and composites for manufacturing.

Suitable for cultivation in a wide range of climates and soils, hemp requires less fertilizer and pesticide than any other commercial crop and is an excellent soil re-conditioner.

Containing less than 1% THC, the psychoactive ingredient in Cannabis Sativa Linnaeus, hemp is to marijuana as NON-alcoholic beer is to beer. Hemp seeds, oil and protein are classified as "super foods" with nutritional values unrivaled in nature and only recently introduced into the American marketplace. Hemp seeds have ten of the essential amino acids and high concentrations of Omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids making it one of the most valuable whole foods found anywhere in Nature. Hemp seed oil is used in the production of non dairy milk, cheese, bread and butter.

Hemp composite boards are twice as strong as wood. As a composite material for automobiles, this remarkable plant fiber is also twice as strong at lighter weights as fiberglass type components. Other applications include use as oils, soaps, lotions, cosmetics, supplements, veterinary applications, construction and fiberglass components.

Hemp yields approximately three tons of fiber per acre, four times the amount produced by trees, saving wildlife habitat, watersheds, oxygen production, and proving its value as a green, renewable Earth friendly resource.

"Why use up the forest which were centuries in making
and the mines which required ages to lie down,
if we can get the equivalent of forest and mineral products
in the annual growth of the hemp fields?" – Henry Ford.

President Don Steinberg, “We are ALL now at the right time and right place to take advantage of an industry that has been around for thousands of years, with products derived from hemp being used today by millions of people. What are Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids?

There are many kinds of fats, but only two kinds of essential fats: Omega 3 (n-3 or w3) and omega 6 (n-6 or w6), both of which are unsaturated fats.

Each EFA is turned into several derivatives by the body. All other fats, such as Omega 9 (monounsaturated), Omega 7, and saturated fat, are non-essentials as the body produces them from sugars and starches.

Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids are necessary for survival. The problem is that the human organism cannot manufacture them or refine them from any other part of the diet, making it necessary to get EFA’s from an outside food source.

Why do people need Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids?
